Mahindra Defence Systems Limited manufactures armoured vehicles, mine-protected vehicles and defence electronics for the Indian armed forces and paramilitary forces, including the Armoured Light Specialist Vehicle (ALSV) and the Marksman armoured personnel carrier. It previously ran the Defence Land Systems India joint venture with BAE Systems to produce the Mine Protected Vehicle-I. In February 2024 it signed an MoU with Embraer Defense & Security to explore cooperation on defence platforms for the Indian market.
