What it does
Adani Defence & Aerospace designs and manufactures unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), precision-guided munitions, small arms and counter-drone systems for the Indian armed forces. In December 2018 it partnered with Israel's Elbit Systems to open India's first private-sector UAV final-assembly facility in Hyderabad, building the Hermes 900 medium-altitude long-endurance drone outside Israel for the first time. It has since expanded into ammunition manufacturing and, per company disclosures, signed an enhanced MoU with Brazil's Embraer in February 2026 to explore an E175 regional-jet assembly ecosystem in India.
